Shane’s story: From customer service agent to successful forex trader

Shane Delano Brandon Chin was born in Jamaica to a Jamaican mother and a Chinese father. His mother soon decided to move the family to the USA in order to pursue better opportunities.

Shane struggled in a Jamaican school, as he didn’t fit in with the other children and wasn’t the smartest kid in class. In fact, he didn’t even know how to read until 5th grade.

Growing up, his parents were very strict, but it paid off in the end. His family placed a high value on reading, so when he first began to read, he memorized a whole book. It was really upsetting for him to have to retake sixth grade in Jamaica.

However, he felt something inside him stirred up  when he watched his buddies move on without him. He promised himself that from this point forward, things would be different. They indeed were. He became the top student in every subject the very next year.

It was like entering a completely new world for him when he immigrated to the United States. Though he noticed that the curriculum was not as hard as what he was used to in Jamaica, he successfully adapted to the new educational system and did well.

Despite this, he still had to repeat the 10th grade since he lacked the necessary number of credits from his prior education. Looking back, he is thankful for the experience since it showed him how to overcome obstacles and adapt to new surroundings.

He expanded his range of interests to include soccer, and he soon rose to the position of team captain. It only goes to show that if you put your mind to anything, you can achieve anything. The college coach simply didn’t like him, despite the fact that he had served as captain of every team he had ever played for.

The desire of becoming a professional soccer player had been his motivation for entering college, but it was immediately dashed.

None of that appeared to matter, despite the fact that he had a 3.8 GPA upon high school graduation and was nearly guaranteed a full scholarship to college.

The fact that his coach didn’t think he was good enough to play for the college squad was all that counted. He made every effort to alter his mind but in vain. He ultimately had to concede that his dream was over.

While he felt disappointed , he understood that it wasn’t the end of the world. All he had to do was choose a new ambition to pursue.

He had aspirations of becoming a doctor in college, specifically a brain surgeon. He changed his academic focus after reading “Gifted Hands” by Ben Carson. He was motivated by this novel since, in a way, he identified with the author. He was a loner and wanted to do something that could help people.

Shane recognized he was going into too much debt by pursuing a college degree and instead took a job with US Airways. This is when Shane first learned about network marketing.

Even though no one joined him in this business, he lost his job and as a result, Shane’s parents decided to send them back to school so he could earn a nursing degree.

Shane knew he didn’t want to be a nurse but he didn’t want to let his parents down either.

Although he was happy for the chance to pursue a career in nursing, it wasn’t his passion. He considered his options carefully before deciding to drop out of nursing school and focus only on forex trading.

He chose to study forex and learn whatever he could after being introduced to it through network marketing.

Even though he initially had no idea what he was doing, he stuck to a plan and finally began to make money. His first $500 came quite fast, and each time he took money out of his account, he was certain that he could continue doing so.

He occasionally earned as much as $5000 per week, but now he easily trades six figures.

He has been a full-time forex trader for several years. In addition to being able to support himself and his family through trading, he is passionate about teaching people how to trade.

Shane’s story is one  of perseverance in the face of hardship. He has endured numerous difficulties throughout his life, but he has always managed to overcome them. He is a living example that everyone can fulfill their potential, regardless of their background or the difficulties they encounter.

Shane learned that if you keep trying, every failure positions you for success. He understood that nothing is impossible if you have the appropriate attitude.

His life was changed by the phrase “Master your mind, master your life,” which he still lives by. He has found strength and encouragement in this quote, which has helped him get through some of his most hard times.
